Dear Parents, Band Members;

The Marching Band trip to Ohio is has been modified. The original date for the trip had to be change due to Prom. The new date for the trip is April 29th. Unfortunately there were no other dates in May that we could go due to other obligations. The students came up with some different options for consideration. The one that we agreed to, is listed below. The final cost is $158.00 for each student, which includes:

 One-day pass at Rock -n- Roll Hall of Fame (Jazz Band will perform at the Rock -n- Roll Hall of Fame)

 Lunch at the Hard Rock Café,

 A Dinner and Dance Cruise.

Round trip transportation via 2 – 55 passenger private chartered motor coaches

All marching band students are welcome on this one-day trip.

We need all the help you can give us by turning in all permission slips and payments on time. All students fundraising goes directly toward that students trip account. Any excess fundraising money will carry over into next year. Please make all payments on time. All trip and fundraiser monies must be paid in full before April 11. Any monies paid toward the trip will either be returned to you or added to your account for next years trip.

      Well, one of us will be very happy at 7:01 pm tonight! The band students made a total of $1,500.00 on this ticket. Thanks for your support!
       The band BINGO was also a success for those attending the trip, with $ 46.34 going into their account, that is if a parent or sponser worked for them.

Next Meeting   MONDAY, Mar. 1, 2004 - BCHS Band ROOM

6:30 pm : FLA TRIP Chaperones (Act 33 & 34 Clearances Needed, mail to Sharen Sakel or hand carry to meeting) and students going on trip +/or parents. Held by Mr. Ken Coffman-Band Director. Adult Rooming List is done. There will be 2 buses. Each chaperone will have students assigned to them. There are specific duties / responsbilities, for parent chaperones. If you can not attend the send someone to represent you!
7:00 pm: Regular monthly band meeting w Band President Bob Rager.

PS: The last payment is due for all going on the band trip to Mrs.Mary Scandrol, Treasurer, on or before 2/2604. The account balances are all ready.
         The stromboli orders ( $2.00 each) are due to Maria Coffman on Tues 2/17 please phone her today 2/16 or Tuesday 2/17 with your totals, this is the very last trip fundraiser.  Profit 50% - $1.00 on each.    
      You will not be given credit for the fundraiser(s) till your bill is paid! Please catch up on all outstanding bills, esp. if planning on going on the trip. Sounds fair?

        02/16/04-Presidents Day!

·                 Tickets are for the parent to sell so their child makes profit for the upcoming band trip, in April '04. As a fundraiser. And, for this trip only!

·                 For each pack of 10 tickets you sell the profit is $15 per packet (10 x $1.50 =  $15.00)

·                 Unsold tickets must to be returned to Sharen Sakel - 1 week prior to it going off --which would be Sunday, 2/8/04 or they are yours.

·                 You are not required to sell. This fundraiser is for your band member. Profit goes directly into your child's account.

·                 You can sell as many as you would like, till they are gone. Receive 2-3 packs of ten tickets and sell them, pay for them and get more, would be a reasonable example.

·                 If you do not get the money for all tickets in your possession by Sunday, 2/15/03 to me the money will be taken out of your child's trip account, the same with any bad / bounced checks.

·                 It is really simple: #1) Sell Tickets, #2) Make check payable to: "Bulldog Band Parents," #3) Mail check to: Mrs. Sharen Sakel, Box #515, Marianna, PA 15345. Or, drop off in my newspaper box on the left of my door, above "Bulldog" that safely comes into my house at: 1101 Ash Street, Marianna, PA. Directions: Down Main Street Marianna, Pass the Nichol Funeral Home on your left, then Mine #58's closed cleaning plant on your right, Make a Right across the 2 lane bridge onto Beason Street, up hill to the bus stop - Y in the road, Left onto Maple Street, Right onto Ash St. to 2nd tan brick 2-story house on Right with white attached garage. Don't worry the bulldog doesn't bite.

·                 I know what numbers you have! Keep the stubs! But, I will need the stubs, both parts: yours( the seller) and the buyers, for pay off.

·                 Winner will  be payed  in CASH on Wednesday, February18th, 2004.

·                 1 Winner Only (the number straight) -- plays on the PA Daily Lottery- 7 pm official number.
